Q:

Can Trichomoniasis be confused with BV (bacterial vaginosis) ?

My boyfriend and I have been seeing eachother for 3 months. Recently I noticed a fishy smell coming from my vagina. I went to see the doctor who told me I probably had Trichomoniasis. She gave me Flagil. My boyfriend is freaking out because he thinks I gave it to him...even though he hasn't been tested. I know I have not been with anyone but him for the past 3 months and he swears the same. We only see eachother once a week or so because we live a distance from eachother. Is it possible that he could have gotten it from his last girlfriend and passed it along to me? Or is it possible that I have BV (bacterial vaginosis) and not Trichomoniasis, since no test was ever performed? Now if he goes to the doctor and has a test and it shows negative, does that mean I gave it to him? Please help! This is ruining our relationship!

Anonymous, you are a genius. You have a PH D in male bs:) I'm sure you already know, the people calling you crazy are likely men being manipulative, not wanting women to see the truth. And if they're not men, they're women who are brainwashed and deluded. But I think they are men. Gaslighting you. But good post, I'm 30 and single by choice as well. You are right on about men. Xoxo

Here comes another fruit loop claiming she's "singal by choice" haha what's funny is her come back reply has no intelligent facts to backup her argument?? Or is that what is known as female logic! LOL All she has done is provide utter b/s with no relevance or substance? Another lonely future ahead for you sweetheart :( life is so fulfilling when you share it with someone you love... Shame you won't experience that with your pathetic attitude or is it that time of the month??? Good luck...

Hahaha omg anonymous is a complete MORON!!! Love how her opening sentence reads.. "I'm 38 years old, single by choice".. No your not honey, your single because no man in his right mind could put up with a pathetic insecure fruit loop like yourself!! Half the reason why the world think men are cheats is because there are bitches like this running their mouths just because they've been done wrong! It's total propaganda!! Open you eyes sweetheart, women cheat just as much as men do so what does that make you?? The divorce rate is just over 50% and did you know that out of that percentage 80% of the person putting the divorce claim through is a woman! And out of that 80% how many women do you think are having affairs and cheating on their husbands? There's some serious manipulation going on in these cases and it sure as hell isn't the man! All you have see is how children grow up and you'll notice little girls learn the art of manipulation well before boys ever do and then carry it on into their adult lives.. So enough of your bullshit "words of wisdom" and see the world for what it really is! Getting burnt is what happens in our quest for love so get over yourself anonymous the world dosent revolve around you!! I feel very sorry for you because you have a very lonely existence ahead of you ...

Dear anonymous,
Thank you for your post, it really helped with my situation in which the guy didn't use a condom for the first time with me because he said he didn't like using them. After having sex with him three different times i started showing symptoms of trich, when i asked him about it he said i was the only girl he had been with for like three months which i just don't believe for a second. Hopefully this stuff clears up really fast so i can move on with life and not be obsessing over the guy who possibly gave me my first std and what it means. During the initial conversations he made me feel like i was over reacting to the whole thing since it was my first time without using a condom. I honestly thought he was being insensitive and a little naive for thinking he couldn't be a carrier just because he didn't show any symptoms. All in all lesson learnt "NO SEX WITHOUT CONDOMS". I wish there was a way to salvage the friendship because we were friends first then turned it into a 'with benefits' situation, but i think std scare is pretty hard to come back from. Oh well at least i learnt my lesson.

Kate, you are completely right. I recently just called someone out on their BULLSHIT, and it was amazing. Thats what screws girls over, they're being manipulated and then they don't even know their left from their right, and they think they're the ones that messed up when they're the victims!!!!
