What are the chances of getting pregnant 2 days after your period from the pull out method? Even if he did ejaculate in me what are the chances. Should I take the after pill?

Dear Anon,

Thanks for reaching out to EmpowHer.

Anytime you have unprotected sex, you risk pregnancy. There is no perfectly safe time. If he did not ejaculate inside you, I'd say the risk is low that you could be pregnant. Using a condom is much safer than relying on the pull-out method.

For your information, this is what the American Pregnancy Association website states.
*Yes, you can get pregnant right after your period.
You are starting to move into your fertility window. On a typical cycle that occurs every 28 to 30 days, the fertility window is usually between Day 11 and Day 21. Sperm can live 2, 3 and up to 5 days. If your period (bleeding time) lasts for 5 to 7 days, and you have sex right after that, you are approaching your fertility window.*

Best,
Helena
