I was due to come on my period 7.9.10 but I came on 4days earlyer than I normally would, I've had bad period pains and for me this is pretty unusual as I never suffer from period pains. Well I bled on the Friday really bad then since then it's been pretty lighter than normal (as I have really heavy periods) it was red in colour the 1st day then after was a brown colour, I could see some of the little fleshy bits too, I have no idea what's happening as it dosent feel normal for me, what would your opponion be on it? And should I take a test? Thank you!!

Hi Lola_marie,
Thanks for your question. If you're trying to get pregnant, do you have a trusted OB/GYN you are working with? That would be your best resource for a "professional opinion." Two rules: if you get your period for more than a day, no matter how light or heavy, and no matter how much cramping you get, you're probably not pregnant. If you miss your period, or are only spotting, you should take a pregnancy test or call your doctor's office to schedule a pregnancy blood test to confirm a possible pregnancy.
Here is information from the Mayo Clinic about how to know if you're pregnant:

If you have additional questions, please talk to your doctor. We're happy to provide resources to help answer your question. But bear in mind, we're not doctors and can't diagnose a pregnancy or any other condition. We speak from experience and/or refer to published documentation to help you determine the next steps in advocating for your own health.
Good luck getting pregnant, and keep in touch with your doctor in this time.

Yes but I think this time is different, last time I was on the pill and now I'm not!! I want to het pregnant and just wanted a professional opponion on my situation, I've been told that it's possibly to early to test yet soo I should maybe stick it out for another week, I would be really greatful if I could get advice in this situation and not my previous questions.
