i'm on my 13th day since day 1 of my lmp and i've noticed some colorless sticky secretions which i think is an indication of fertility or ovulation. but i'm not sure if it's normal to have lower abdominal cramping this early. i usually experience cramping when my period is near or about to come but why am i experiencing it this early?

Some women can experience cramping during ovulation, and this is a normal part of your cycle. This term is called "mittelschmerz" (pain during ovulation). It is also normal to experience mittelschmerz occasionally, or for a first time.

If your cramping is severe, accompanied by dehydration or diarrhea, your cramping may be more associated with your GI system (gastrointestinal), and a call to your doctor may be advisable if pain is severe.
