Q:

Cunnilingus?

I was just wondering what the STD risks are for a woman receiving cunnilingus for the first time, and for a man giving it for the first time, assuming both sides do not have any cuts/warts. Thanks!

Hi Anon,

Thanks for your question.
Sexually Transmitted Diseases are transmitted from person to person either from penis-to-vagina, vulva-to-vulva-, or oral sex. However, if it is both you and your partners first time, then neither one of you would have been exposed to any STD's therefore neither one of you would transmit any infection. You must be certain that your partner has never had another sexual encounter in order to be sure of this and this is pretty much impossible. The best way to prevent any sexually transmitted diseases is through abstinence and if that isn't an option then the second best option is through use of condoms and a monogamous relationship.

Best Wishes,

Rosa
