I am 19 years of age and yes i am still a virgin i want to have sex but every time i try to relax i just cant seem to get comfortable, when i was a child i was almost a victim of sexual abuse could that be the reason why i am not comfortable in having sex with my boy friend??

Welcome to EmpowHER. A child that has been sexually abused, as an adult can develop serious problem such as. A low self-esteem, an abnormal or distorted view of sex and many other problems. It's important to get counseling from a psychotherapist, which can help in overcoming these feelings and problems.
