Hi, Anon.

Thank you for your post.

My husband has had two bouts of diverticulitis. It's a hard thing to go through. The medications can be as bad as the illness, but it's important to take them. You need to see a gastroenterologist. This likely got worse when you opted not to be admitted that day. If you are still feeling very ill (no better than before) seek medical help asap. Especially if you can't wait to see the specialist. But do see one as soon as you can. Keep us updated.
