Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

For the benefit of our readers, Rilozone is a medication used for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Originally it was thought that lithium could help with the motor neuron degeneration caused by ALS but further research has shown it did not - and it caused rather unpleasant side effects too.

Best,
Susan
