Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Treatment with HRT after a hysterectomy it all depends in each individual. Treatment is for those with severe menopausal symptoms. Such as hot flash, mood swings, bone loss and many other. It also depends on your family history.  Most women with a family history or stroke, breast cancer or ovarian cancer might have to opt for other treatments. You need to discuss this with your OBGYN and he will suggest what treatment is best for you.

Hope this was helpful?
