Hi, I have a kind of problem that part is personal. I have back problem which is scoliosis and I have a lot going on in my situation. This week on Wednesday I'm going to my orthopedic surgeon and it's my first time going to see this doctor. I know I should say this to him but I don't know how to say this to him that I have a lot pain in the breast bone especially the outer part. It's a really bad pain and feeling for me. Since it's a male doctor how do you think I should say this to him because I'm kind of embarrassed? Please let me know how do you think I should say this?
Thanks

Hi again, Melissa6666

Thank you for posting.

Write down what you want to say. The way you have here. Make a list. This often helps when speaking to a doctor. Otherwise, say it as simply as you can.
I have a lot of pain in the outer part my breastbone.

Thanks for letting me know. When I say this to the doctor if he wants to examine me and feels the area the other problem is I feel something near my right breast close to the outer part of my breast bone and if he feels this I'm to embarrassed to say this to him. I'm going to see my GYN and oncologist for this but my main problem is pain in breast bone. You have any idea for such thing if my orthopedist feels this?

The other problem I have is its been few days that my right finger hurts and feels weird I don't know why though. I'm wondering does a orthopedist deal with such matter?
Please let me know soon.
Thanks,
Melissa

Hi,

You will just have to be a bit embarrassed if you want to know what is going on with the pain. I'm not sure what else I can tell you, Melissa. See your doctors and they will guide and advise you.

Hi,

A hurt finger can be anything. Ask the doctor to check it while you are there. You don't need me to tell you things likes this.
