had sex April 9 and got what i thought to be my period May 26 however, it turned out i was pregnant is this logical?

It sure doesn't seem logical to us, does it? We know that an actual period is when the body gets rid of the tissue and blood that helped build up the uterus in case of a pregnancy, and that that only happens when we are not pregnant. But yes, some women do experience bleeding during their first couple of months of pregnancy.

Was that "period" a little lighter than usual? It may have been implantation bleeding, but that's usually 5 to 12 days after ovulation. So that doesn't seem like it could be the case.

Is your pregnancy proceeding normally in all other ways? What does your doctor say about the "period" you had?
