Hello everyone,

Have any of you ever used a Neti Pot? I have several friends who just swear by them and they all insist that I absolutely have to get one too. Like most people I get sinus issues from time to time and maybe some mild allergies too, and my friends are all saying that the Neti Pot will basically help with all of these things plus more. It's almost gotten to the point where they are almost saying this thing will vacuum my floors it's so amazing. Well not really, but you get the idea.

I've seen the photos of the Neti Pot in use and heard the descriptions from my friends and it's amazing to me that you can use it and not feel like you are choking on warm water. I guess a lot of people do sort of cough and sputter at first until they get the hang of it.

If you have one and use it, what do you think? Is it really all it's hyped up to be? What do you use it for? Allergies, sinus issues or something else? I look forward to reading your thoughts! Michelle

Michelle, I use one, and as a matter of fact my old one broke so I rushed to get a new one this weekend. I get mine at a local health food store called Mother's Market, unfortunately they are local. I have seen neti pots at Wallmart, Wallgreens and many other stores but I trust those made with more natural materials.

I am a frequent shopper at the Chopra Center since they are just a few miles from my house. I know they carry the same neti pot I just bought at Mother's Market. Here is the link to Dr Chopra's website, maybe you can order it from their website. Try using very fine sea salt if you do not get saline solution. Most come with instructions. They are great and even my daughter uses it to improve her allergy symptoms.
