Having two periods in one month

Hi I've stared my period nov 9 and was heavy until the 17then it was gone for a day then came back the next day.. Me and my boyfriend are trying to have a baby.. What does this mean? I'm so confused .. And I'm still bleeding and it's the 21... Help please

Hi Anonymous and thanks for bringing your concerns to the EmpowHER community.

Having a period twice a month is abnormal and you should see your doctor right away because you may become anemic if this continues. It is hard to know what is causing this. It could be a sign of infection or other medical problem that would need treatment.
