HELP! Could i be pregnant or is it stress?

Hey! My last period started on the 19th of july and i was due recently on the 14th of August, however have not yet gotten it and am now 8, almost 9 days late. I have been late before having once missed my period all together and been two weeks late on another occation.
now that i am sexually active it has really gotten me worried! The last time i had sex with my boyfriend was on July the 27th and August the 17th, and every time we have worn a condom. I am currently doing year 12, so that is providing quite some stress, i am wondering if that has some effect. However being only 18 i am extremely worried. If someone is able to ease my mind or give me some advice it would be much appreciated as i cant get it off my mind of it and keep breaking down in tears.

Please help, i am so scared.

Dear Anon,

Thanks for posting! If you are 8 days late for your period, please take a pregnancy test. If it is negative then it is likely caused by stress or something else.

Good luck,

Rosa

Thanks for your reply Rosa, my boyfriend managed to calm me down last night when he realised how much i was freaking out. Although he was worried too, he told me i had nothing to stress about. I relaxed a litte and woke up this morning with my period! Thank you so much though!
