Hi, I am 26 years old and am irregular with my periods. However I usually get them around the end of the month or beginning of the next. I would say within the first two weeks of the month at the latest.

Anyway, I had my last period 2/9 and ended 2/14. I had sex with my bf several times between the 14th and 20th. After that we still had sex however he would not cum inside me. However once or twice he may have accidently allowed a small amount to get in but I would urinate right after. Is it possible to push all the sperm out by urinating?

It's now 3/18 and no period. My breasts are a little sensitive, however I do not feel fatigue or cramps which I usually get before my period.

I have been stressing and so I took 3 pregnancy tests and they came back positive. Am I definately pregnant? Is it possible that it can show positive bc I am stressing and not really pregnant? How can I tell for sure?

Hi, I am 19 and my period usually comes around the 23rd of each month. The last one I had was in June, it didn't come in July. I am not and have never been sexually active. It is now August 13 and I feel like it is going to start. Can you please explain what is going on. Thank you.

Hi, Anon, and thanks so much for your question.

Our hormones can be affected by a lot of different things. Have you been under a lot of stress lately? Has something changed in your life (like eating habits, activity levels, a change in medicine, etc)?

It's our hormones that tell our body when to ovulate and then when to menstruate, and if they get a little out of whack for any reason, we can have a period early, have it late, or even skip one. It sounds like that's what is happening to you. It's nothing to worry about, it happens to all of us sometimes.

You might go back to being regular right away, or it could be a month or two before it gets settled out. If you are under stress right now, because of school, or family, or friends/boyfriends, focus on getting that a little more under control. But overall, don't fret too much. It wouldn't be worrisome unless perhaps you skipped two or three periods -- which can happen sometimes when someone is extremely thin or is extremely active in sports, for instance.

Does that help a little?

Do you mean that you have not had your period in nine months?

This indicates that you need to call your doctor, as it is a medical condition called amenorrhea (click on underlined word for more information).

Do you mean you have not had a period for 9 months? If so, this would indicate that you need to call your doctor (the medical term is ammenorhea, and you can click on the word to learn more about it).

Hi, Anon, and thank you for your question.

I guess my first question is, have you seen a doctor at any time in the last nine months to find out what's going on? This may be something hormonally related. Are you extremely thin or extremely active? Sometimes those things can cause a complete cessation of your period.

I am assuming that you are not pregnant, and that there is another explanation here. Before this time started, were you regular in your cycles?

Do you have a doctor (preferably a gynecologist?) I think you really need to make an appointment to see her or him, or at least call the office and talk to the nurse or the physician's assistant. It isn't normal to go this long without having a period, and it would be good to find out what's going on. Would you do that?

Hi, Anon. Were you still on your period on the 16th?

How long are your cycles normally?

Here are some great sites that help you decide whether you might be pregnant. The last one is an actual quiz that helps you know your chances:

Hi Ladies,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me. I last got AF on the 6th July and should have ovulated on the 12th July but ovulated on the 16th July. My question is should be due for AF on the 27th July (tomorrow) or the 30th July? I have been having a 21 day cycle the last 4 months.
Thanks for your help.
