I am taking projest cream 1/4 teaspoon in the evening, I have not had my period and have been cramping for a week now. I checked into Ambreme not sure how to spell it but when I came to this site there was a woman asking about it. I asked also and had to sign on as member, so not sure where my question went and really do not feel like rewriting at this time. I would just like to use something that will help me. I was in a car accident in June of 2009 it seems like the accident took my body for a ride and my period which I used to have every 28 days now comes when early, late, this month not at all. The projest cream that I am using I have tried to use more less and my Obgyn say's she thinks my body wants to have a period but for some reason is stalling. Sorry a bit edgy about all this. So What about that Ambreum again not sure how it is spelled.

Peace,

Kat

Hi, Katbalou,

Welcome to EmpowHER, again, and I'm so glad you found us.

May I ask how old you are, Kat? Are you in perimenopause or menopause?

Did your ob/gyn recommend the progesterone cream? How long have you been using it?

And is the question you are looking for about Amberen? If so, here is that thread:

Please let us know if that's the information you need, and if there is anything else we could help you find.

Thank you Diane, I am 47 years old - I had no issues with my period before the car accident. I would get my period every 28 day's like clock work. My Theriod level went underactive for a few months, and without any medicine It went back to normal. So now Dc. Lundbalds office put me on the projest bio identical cream. I saw my OB doctor yesterday, I am now in my 4 day of my period and she decided to recheck my estrogen level yesterday to see if it is still 485 to high... I do not feel that I have any menopause issues, no night sweets no nothing, other then the crazy feeling bloating that I get before my period.
My Obgyn had me change the way I use the cream start of period go 14 day's without then use the cream for 10 day's and stop get my period wait 14 and just continue on that cycle.
