Hi vhunter,

Thank you for your question and Welcome to Empowher. I am sorry to hear about your loss of a job and the economy is horrible. What I can say is, I am also in the same boat as you....I know your pain. Keep applying for jobs, something will come up you just cannot give up. To try and combat your depression, you should try to exercise (even walking) for at least 30 minutes a day. This will help with serotonin in your brain...

Don't give up.

Best of luck,

Missie

It sounds like you're worried and these worries are making you depressed! It's a vicious cycle. I've been through something similar myself, where the worries and the panic just takes OVER you and you can't just shut your brain off for even two seconds. You said you've been depressed all your life--have your seen anyone about this? Sometimes you just need someone to calm you down with logic. Worrying about having a job/place to live is definitely a legitimate concern, is there a specific reason you're worried about this? Have you been jobless/homeless before?
