hi! being a mother of a 4months old baby boy, how can i evaluate my infant's mental health @ home? simply means 2 ask u wht r the earliest symptoms of a mentally retarded(of any kind) child?

Hi Snq,

Congratulations on your baby!

To determine if your infant is following normal development and hitting his milestones then you can follow this chart:

One thing I can tell you is that if your baby is meeting most of the mastered skills and maybe still hasn't quite mastered others, then try not to worry-- all babies develop at their own pace.
