Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Hepatitis C is a viral infection that causes liver inflammation, sometimes leading to serious liver damage. The hepatitis C virus spreads through contaminated blood.

The virus is transmitted by sharing drugs and needles, having sex, especially if you have an STD, an HIV infection, several partners, or have rough sex, being stuck by infected needles and a mother can pass it on to her child.

I'm not sure what you mean by "a dead person". Do you assist in the care of dead bodies before funerals etc? If so, caution should always be used, as with all bodies.
Best,
Susan
