Q:

How do you find the right dentist that will pull teeth and make dentures that attach to the bone?

Due to a lack of funds and having Sojorgrens Syndrome, my teeth are in very poor condition. I have 2 or 3 broken teeth and numerous deep cavities. I only have a limited amount of funds to take care of my teeth and I want to do the right thing as well as the most economical. What kind of dentist would I call? I know that having all these bad teeth may be causing some of my medical issues and I would like to get them cleared up as soon as possible. Any help that anyone could be would be most appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi CREn4U,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am sure it must not feel comfortable having your teeth in these conditions. It might be best to start seeing a dentist and he or she can referred you to a dental surgeon. Without the referral of a regular dentist, you won't be seen by a surgeon. You can always call your local hospitals and they can suggest dentist in your area.

Best,

Daisy
