Hi Anonymous-
Digestive problems during menstruation are very common. Changes in hormone levels affect the digestive system. The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has a good overview of digestive issues: http://www.acog.org/publications/patient_education/bp120.cfm
We also have a good overview of PMS that includes GI issues: https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/premenstrual-syndrome
If your symptoms are disrupting your life, as you say you are not able to work, it is time to see a health care provider for an exam and possibly medication to ease your symptoms.
Good luck to you.
