I am not shore if you guys are "love experts"

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
I may not be a love "expert" per se, however after 3 years of marriage I can offer some helpful advise.
First of all, there are many common misconceptions about how being in love should "feel." People who fall in love at a young age often fall prey to these misconceptions. So, I'll try to clear them up for you now.
Misconception #1: you should miss the person you love 24/7 when they're away.
Truth: missing someone you love is a wonderful reminder of your love for them, but its only one of the many feeling you can have for them when they're away. Its normal not to miss him 24/7.

Misconception #2: you must feel on-top-of-the-world every time you think about him.
Truth: you may feel like that most of the time, or even sometimes. But just because you don't feel like that ALL the time does not mean you are falling out of love

Misconception #3: You should always enjoy sex with the person you're in love with.
Truth: If you're not ready to have sex, it will not be a good experience no matter who you're having sex with. It does not mean you don't love your boyfriend.

I also want to say that you should consider that you will continue to meet people and your life will change when you go to college yourself. But through all these changes allow the knowledge of your love for him be your guide not necessarily your feelings. Because your feelings will naturally change over the years. And that is ok!
