I am post menopausal 66 yrs old. I recently had and still am having light bleeding. I had pap which came back ok and my lab work as well was ok. I had a pelvic and trans vaginal ultra sound. Showed no masses or tumors in either ovary or uterus.

Thank you for your answer. I have an appt this week and I’m expecting the doctor will suggest s biopsy. I am trying to see the bigger picture and prepare myself for decisions I may have to make and questions to ask this doctor when I see her

Endometrial hyperplasia describes a condition in which the lining of the uterus, called the endometrium, becomes too thick. The condition itself is not cancerous; however, it sometimes can lead to uterine cancer. Has your doctor suggested a biopsy because of the endometrial thickness? You mention chemo and radiation, but not that you have been diagnosed with cancer.
