Hi Anonymous-

I did not see your original question, and because you are anonymous I cannot find it. But I think your situation is going to require a visit to a gynecologist and perhaps even a sex therapist. I don't know a lot about female circumcision but I do know in addition to the tissue that is cut on the outside, there is often nerve damage inflicted as well. If you have no innervation to the area, you will not have proper sensation there.

I suggest you see a gynecologist, particularly one who is familiar with female circumcision/female genital cutting. My thinking here is that even if some of your nerves are damaged, others may not be, and it may be a case of finding which nerves innervate which area and are still working. Sort of a sexual work around, if you see what I mean. I don't know where you live, but if you can find a teaching hospital with a large gynecology department, that might be your best bet for seeing someone who has dealt with this before. We do have some information on the site here: https://www.empowher.com/news/herarticle/2009/11/03/female-genital-cutting

Don't give up hope. Please let us know how you do. Good luck to you.
