Q:

I began having a sight discomfort about a month ago in the right side of my neck now it has moved to the area right below my chin. Could this be to stress and anxiety and teeth clenching at night?

Hi Anon

Welcome to EmpowHER. Although teeth grinding can be caused by stress and anxiety, it can also occur during sleep from an abnormal bite, a missing tooth or crooked teeth. You need to have imaging testing done to know what can really be causing the symptoms. Please see your dentist and he or she will be able to decide if it's due to your teeth. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
