I just had my second child five months ago. My husband and I decided we didnt want anymore children, so I got my tubes tied. I am cramping and have been about a week before I was suppose to start, but nothing happens. Not quiet sure what's going on.

Have you had a period since your child was born? (In case you are breastfeeding, your periods can be irregular).

Having your tubes tied is almost 99.9% effective at preventing pregnancy, but if you are experiencing any pain that is not your usual "pre menstrual" cramping, it is best to give your doctor a quick call.

You can read more about tubal ligation: https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/tubal-ligation-laparoscopic-surgery, and it does mention to call your doctor if you have a missed period.

Can you let us know how you are doing?
