Q:

I had a regular mammogram done. Now they are requesting additional images through diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound and I'm wondering why?

Hello. Thank you for posting.

They should have told why and if not, you should definitely ask them. I am assuming it's because they found something that was not present before when comparing the new images to your past ones. This happened to me twice. One time it was a cyst, another time a calcification. Most times, additional testing is nothing to worry about, but if they are asking for additional images, it's best to have them done. Speak with your doctor.
