Thank you so much for posting this. I am still having pain issues and limited movement in my left arm where I received the injection in Nov. 2014. In Jan. I saw an orthopedist. He told me that he had seen several patients with this after the flu shot but not shingles. He assured me that it would go away and gave me a mild steroid because it was caused by swelling. Ugh. I would love to turn on a light switch without gasping from pain.

I had the vaccine shot for shingles a week ago. My left arm swelled and a big hard lump formed at the injection point. I started having severe spasms in my spine between my shoulder blades and left of my spine two days later. Now 6 days and am having burning sensation in the whole upper left quadrant of my torso. Still having pain in the left side of neck, shoulder and spine. I will never take another vaccine for anything.

I have experienced this same thing, three weeks ago and it seems to be progressing poorly. The pain is not quite as intense but there are other symptoms presenting themselves and I'm a bit worried about this. Have you had any progress since posting this originally?

Yes, I am happy to say I am feeling much better now, it took many months, the Dr told me I have nerve damage so my left hand still is weak and clumbsy. I always kept doing whatever I could and I think that helped, like at first I couldn't even open the frig, now I can. Good luck!

Have you gone back to the clinic/doctor/nurse who gave you the injection, to tell them about your symptoms? It is important to do so, and I hope to hear back from you after you talk with them (hopefully you are able to do so?)
