Hi Anon,
Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer!
A headache that gets worse with activities such as bending over are usually known to be Exertion Headaches. These headaches occur during or after prolonged exercise or short, intense periods of exertion. They can also occur when lifting objects, bending over, or when coughing or sneezing. The headaches are usually throbbing and brief but if they are sudden and severe you should seek immediate medical attention by going to the emergency room because it could indicate a serious condition. Once these potentially dangerous conditions are ruled out, meaning that the exertion headache is primary and not secondary, the headaches often respond to a prescription anti-inflammatory. Either way, to be on the safe side-- please visit your doctor or go to the Emergency Room if this is a sudden and severe pain.
Keep us updated,
Rosa
