Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

We have a great article on this topic that I will link you to. We cannot say if you will end up with psoriatic arthritis due to an injury but according to most of the information I have read, there may be some kind of a connection due to any inflammation in your join due to a tear. There is no clear link but in general, it’s estimated that up to 30 percent of people with psoriasis will eventually develop PsA.

You can cut and paste the link here: https://www.empowher.com/arthritis/content/how-are-psoriasis-and-psoriatic-arthritis-connected

Best,
Susan
