You have a lot of different things going on...let's see if we can address each one!
1. You haven't had a period since September, and this is January? When was your last menstrual period? How old are you--have you talked with a doctor yet?
2. Irregular periods are different than the absence of a period. If you miss a period for three consecutive months, this warrants a call to your doctor and a medical exam.
3. Your period is back, and it is a heavy flow. When did your period start? Are you having any pain, and are you soaking through a tampon or pad every hour (this would indicate too much of a heavy flow).
About your question regarding being a virgin. Most people define "virgin" as someone who has not had penile-to-vagina intercourse. If you are sexually active, and the guy is putting his finger inside your vagina, most people would still consider this as being a virgin.
If you are bleeding after any sexual activity and it is not your period, you may need to communicate with your partner that the sexual play is too rough. Heavy bleeding after being fingered would not be normal, and it sounds like the bleeding is related to a period and not being fingered; it may a coincidence that your period started after being fingered.
Does this answer all of your questions?

thankyou for answering my questions.
my last period was around middle of September, i'm 16 and no i haven't talked to a doctor yet but i am planing to. it has always been irregular ever since i had my first period in Jan 2008.
it is heavy flow, but it seems normal, it came back this Monday and by Wednesday it stopped flowing so heavily. my pad wasn't soaked through every hour so i think its alright?
because i hear if you break the barrier of being a virgin, you will bleed, but i didn't know whether you bleed just temporarily or like a normal period. but yes i think it may just be a coincidence that my period started.

If you have sex and "break" the hymen, the bleeding would be described more like bleeding from a cut: one time bleeding, and could be a spot or some drops of blood. The bleeding would not a "flowing" type of ongoing bleeding like your period.
