I have a IUD in me for birth control. Could that have failed?

Hi Anon,

What kind of IUD do you have? Was is recently implanted?

Irregular bleeding or spotting may occur during the first three to six months of having an IUD. If it has been longer than this and you are experiencing a second period, please call your doctor for his/her advice as to whether you should go in for an evaluation.
