I have been with my boyfriend for just over a year now and we still really love each other. we kiss and cuddle a lot and always cuddle when were going to sleep but he just doesn't seem to want sex anymore. He is in the army and has started at Sandhurst which i no is absolutely exhausting for him but when he comes home at weekends he never wants to do much and likes to just sit and play on his computer. We normally go out on a sat for a little bit and have sex at the very most 3 times over the weekend but before he was at sandhurst we used to do it about twice a day! Everytime i ask him he says its cause he's tired from work and jsut wants to relax but he comes home jsut to play on his computer all day and is jsut happy im with him but pays more attention to the computer than me. I have asked him about it a few times now but he jsut says he's not talking about it again cause he doesn't want us to get in a fight. He is always telling me he loves me, a couple of times a day at least and is always calling me gorgeous so i no hes still finds me attractive. Do u think its just cause he is tired or there are other reasons too? I'm just scared its going to start really affecting our relationship as i have quite a high sex drive, and he used to but now its all changed. Please help cause i adore my boyfriend and don't want a problem like this to get in the way of that.

Hi Emma-- thank you for your post. I think it's safe to say that every relationship if not most, goes through a change in sex. It is usually never the same in the beginning than it is 1, 4, 10 years later. But this doesn't mean that there are necessarily other reasons why your b/f may not want to have sex as often. He may very well be genuinely tired, and the computer may relax him.

Here is another thread with situations similar to yours, take a look through it. I hope it helps!
