Today i took the First Response pregnancy test and the answer was NEGATIVE. It says to pee on the stick for 5 seconds, if you pee a little longer it doesnt change your answer right?? And what would be some other reasons why my period is late?? sometimes it feels like im goint ot get my period but its just a false alarm. I dont know what to do!!

Relax. I know being 6 days late makes your mind wander with possibilities but your period evolves every so often and even though it has been almost a week that does not mean that you HAVE to be pregnant. Other issues such as stress, hormones, medications, miscalculations, weight, crash diets, change in your daily routineand even an illness (severe or not) can cause a late or missed period.
Give it a few more days and re-test. If you get a single line in ONE test window or a "not pregnant", then you are testing correctly. That is why pregnancy tests are designed with 2 windows, one that will always have a line (unless not done properly) and the other that will only appear if you are pregnant (or +,- and "pregnant", "not pregnant")
