im 37 yrs old i had a hysterectomy 4 months ago now im very very dry down the bottom and sex is very painfull. is this normal to hapen??

Hi  lisadiebsfeir,

Yes this is a common side effect of women who have undergone a hysterectomy. 

You may find that a water-based lubricant may help with dryness during intercourse.
