Hi Anon,

Thank you for reaching out tot he EmpowHER community and sharing your question!

I am sorry that you are experiencing this pain in your breasts, it must be very uncomfortable and alarming. The good news is that breast pain is rarely cancer related which was also confirmed with you mammogram.

You could be suffering from a breast infection, cysts or fibroadenomas - all of which can be treated.

Fibroadenomas are solid and round benign tumors and since your mammo was clean, I doubt that this is the cause.

A doctor can do a full breast exam to try and diagnosis the heaviness and burning sensation.

I included a link to the Breast center on the EmpowHER website that can offer you some more information. Click here

Anon, did this help? Will you schedule a breast exam with your doctor?

Best,

Kristin
