I'm confused about my current period being stop and go or is this implantation?

I'm so confused. So my LMC was Dec 29 to Jan 7. It was very light and wouldn't fill a pad or tampon and would stop several times during the day every day. I had sex on the 13th and 15th and 18th during my fertility window. On the 16th I had a dull lower back ache followed by glue like discharge with traces of pink, no smell. This continued on and off til the 27th accompanied with fatigue and sore achy nipples, nausea, pelvic pain. On the 28th I started to have spotting more like period blood so I figured I was getting my period but there was only blood every other hour when I'd wipe. Two days ago I thought it was all over and while working out had an accident of stained blood so I wore a pad but still did not fill the pad. Today I removed my tampon and there was barely anything. I don't know what's going on. I even took a pregnancy test just in case and it was negative. What is going on!?

Thanks. I'll ask my doctor at my next appointment. I'm thinking it could possibly be endometriosis. I've taken birth control before and when I did I had to take the ones with additional hormones because birth control alone wouldn't control my period at all. Almost like a placebo. So if I ask them to just run a blood test for hormonal imbalances they'll know what to look for?

Yes - explain everything and they will know what to look for. Also mention endometriosis - they more they look for , the better.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Doesn't sound like you are pregnant but you may have a hormonal imbalance. Have a blood pregnancy test done at your doctor's office and have them also run tests to see if your hormones are imbalanced.
Best,
Susan
