Two years ago in August had a prolapsed uterus; had surgery for repair and a sling in place. I am incontinent and wear a pad 24/7 - most embarrassing. I am a young 72 and want to know if there is anything that can be done. Physician suggests using homone crème and doing kegels this hasn't helped. I am scheduled for a pap test in a week.

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
June 28, 2015 - 11:30amThe pam smear will help spot any further irregularities.
But the incontinent will only improve through Kegels exercises as recommended. You can literally exercise the muscles of your vagina the same way you would any other muscle in the body. Once those muscles are strong they will be able to naturally stop the the flow of urine.
I highly recommend that you take 20min a day to do Kegels exercises. Its the best, and most natural way to improve and even stop incontinents.
