is it necessary for one who had the Asian Flu in l957-58 to get a flu shot.

It was once said that if you have had the Asian Flu ( the front runner of the flu viruses we have now) you have natural immunity. I'm speaking of the Type A Asian Flu strain.

Even if you have a natural immunity, I would think the added precautionary measure would server as extra protection. So although it may not be deemed necessary, it might be a good idea.
