Hi, Few nights ago I was sleeping in a really bad position and woke up with pain on the sides of my breasts. It feels like I pulled my muscles and it's really horrible pain. I want to use bengay and I don't know if it's safe to use it on my breasts. Do you think it's okay to use bengay or should I just wait to see my doctor because I'm going to see my doctor on Tuesday he's my oncologist? Let me know soon.
Thanks,
Melissa

Thanks for your reply. I see okay. I used some heating pad which helped a bit and I will wait to ask my doctor on Tuesday for using the bengay.
Thanks,

Hi Melissa,
If you have some skin irritation issues around the breast area, I woud definitely NOT use the Ben Gay. Perhaps since you have other underlying issues going on, it would be best to ask your treating physician.
Good luck,

Thanks for your reply. I'm seeing my oncologist for follow up because I experience under arm and breast pain and he told me my under arm problem looks like it's coming from my skin and told me to see dermatologist which I did. So far I'm doing okay and I'm seeing my oncologist on Tuesday and Wednesday I'm seeing my dermatologist and see how things are.
Since you mentioned to me about bengay I will use very little only on the outer part of my breasts. Thanks so much for this info.
Thanks,

Hi Melissa,
Thank you for your question. If you use Bengay on your breasts, remember that Ben Gay is for use of sore muscles and the muscles of the breasts are at the very top of the breast and on the sides of the breast. The cream should not be applied to the breast itself or the nipple area. A think layer is all that is necessary.
You indicated that you are seeing your oncologist? What is your condition that you are seeing him/her for?
I hope this helps, please keep us updated.
Missie
