Q:

I've been on birth control for a week and I took it on the first day of my period. Last night my boyfriend and I had sex, but the condom slipped off when he pulled out. The condom was rightside up and not in, and nothing came out, am I safe?

Hi again Anonymous,

I am not sure what pill you are taking but it is usually 7 days in most cases. Call your Pharmacist to be certain.

Good luck,

Missie

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, since you just started taking the pill and the condom fell off, I think you are at risk. The only thing you can do at this point is wait until you miss a period, then take a pregnancy test. There are no earlier techniques rather than the waiting game at this point. I hope this helps and keep us posted if you get your period.

Good luck,

Missie

Are you positive because my birthcontrol said that it is okay to have unprotected sex if you started within 24 hours of your period? and The condom didn't turn inside out or anything, all of the c** was still in there. Could plan B help?
