Late period but pregnancy test shows negative

Hi, im new here and was hoping you can help me. My period was suppose to come on the 31st of aug but its been 13 days late. I am sexually active and there was ejaculations inside 5 days before my period. my period has always been regular but ever since i started work 2 mths ago its been haywire.. i dont know if its because of stress or am i pregnant. I tried to take alot of cooling stuffs to induce it but to no avail. I get cramps occassionally and all the symptoms ive gotten before i got my period. this is the first time ive been 13 days late.. please advise me.

Hi emmalyn, Welcome to EmpowHER. Definitely, stress can delay ovulation and your period. But, anytime you have unprotected sex your chances of being pregnant are higher.
