Hi! Good evening.. I just want to ask if there's something wrong with my period cycle or is there any problem with it. Last August 20-24 i had a period. And then September, there was none. And then Oct 11-17, i had a period again. And also Oct. 31 only.... Today, Nov 1, I don't have it which makes me nervous about my health.. Disregard with being pregnant coz i do not sex.. Thank You...

Hi Anon and thanks for your question.

You may be dealing with some shifts in the timing for your period. While we are generally taught to look for a 28 day cycle, which is the average cycle, a normal cycle is anywhere between 21 and 35 days.

What you experienced on Oct 31, which lasted one day, may have been old blood from your previous period rather than a new, separate period.

When was your last visit with your gynecologist? If it's been a while, and these changes are bothering you, it would be a good time to schedule a visit and get checked out for your own peace of mind and well being.

Hope that helps,

Pam
