Hi
I got my period on May 1. I bled for 7 days. Then after that a couple days later I was bleeding again but it was really light. It was brownish. I would only see it when I would wipe. I have never had an irregular period before. I got a mirena IUD not even a month ago. About a week before my period my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he went inside of me. I'm not sure if maybe it's from mirena or if it wa implantation bleeding. The only other symptoms I would have of pregnancy is being more tired than usual I have been peeing more frequently and I am really emotional I will cry over nothing and don't even know why I'm crying. Just not sure if I should take a test or if it could be from my mirena.

Hi Anon,
Welcome to EmpowHER. Some of the side effects of the Mirena can be. Cramping, bleeding, irregular menstruation you might want to see your doctor and explain your symptoms. Hope this was helpful?
