Might have a vaginal tear but I'm not quite sure?

I had sex a week ago and I wasn't very wet when we had intercourse, I got more wet during but at the beginning it was minimal. The next day, my vagina hurt a little, but that's always normal. But then I noticed a burning feeling when I went to the rest room, the burning was felt like towards the way back of the vagina and only when urine would touch it, like near the anus. I've continued to have this pain for the past week, hoping it would subside, but it hasn't at all. And I also have way more discharge than usual. Help? :/

Thank you for the feedback! Is the excessive discharge due to the tear? It's inconvenient and to the point to where I have to wear a tampon to keep my pants dry.

If your discharge is excessive and had a funky odor (different from normal) please see your doctor, you may have an infection.

Hi CW,

Sounds like you may actually have torn during sex. The most important thing is to keep the area clean to prevent infection. If the pain is persistent and you begin to notice a foul odor, please schedule an appointment with your doctor. It is important that you keep an eye out for this because the discomfort will go away, but if an infection occurs then it will get worse and you will need treatment for it.

Keep the area clean-- good luck!
