So I am on Ortho Tri Cyclin Lo and I had sex the 11th 12th 13th and 14th day of my cycle and was ejaculated in approximately 8 times by my fiance during those days (sorry for so much detail). I took my pill 4hours late on the 13th day and missed my pills on the 15th 16th and 17th day of my cycle. I have not doubled up because I accidentally dropped 2 down the sink... Im am on my 18th day of my cycle now and cant get a new pack till about 2days from now so I decided to just still take my pills left over as normal but that still means I've missed 3 active pills of week #2 in my pack.... If I don't experience withdrawal bleeding in the next few days does that mean I am pregnant? and If I do have withdrawal bleeding is there still a chance of me being pregnant?.... Either way what is my chance of being pregnant?

I guess my main concern is how long approximately after your missed pills will your body probably start the ovulation process.
I feel less worried about being pregnant because of the fact that I had sex before my missed pills instead of after.

February 15, 2011 - 7:56pmIt's hard to say, because our bodies aren't like clocks. One person may ovulate within days of not taking the pill, and another may not ovulate for a month. That is why it's important to take your pills regularly and use a backup method to not put yourself at increased risk. In any given month, without using any birth control, a woman of childbearing age in good health could expect to be 20% likely to get pregnant from frequent unprotected sex. Also bear in mind that sperm can live and hang out inside your system looking for an egg to fertilize for up to 5 days after a sexual event. So even if you forgot to take pills after having sex, you could be increasing your chances of getting pregnant.

Anytime you forget to take your pills and have intercourse without using a backup method, you run the risk of getting pregnant. We are not doctors and can't give you odds on your pregnancy risk. When taken correctly, your pills are 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. Keep taking your pills and you may want to throw away your current pack and start over with a new pack when you are able to get one.

If you are really concerned about getting pregnant, you may want to use a backup method of birth control (condoms, withdrawal, etc.) for the next week at least, and possibly for the rest of this cycle until you get your next period to not put yourself at further risk.
