i have a serious boyfriend, but the farthest we've gone is more or less making out, and a bit of touching. i was on his inner thigh, and he warned me hell try to stay calm, but to remember he is of course a guy, and it might be a bit wet. i get the whole idea of lubrication now, after reading some other posts, but my question i guess now is, what exactly IS said lubricant-- from a very factual stand point, please. honestly, im just trying to understand what all this is, and how exactly this works. can i get some help??

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Pre-cum is pre-ejaculate  is the clear lubricating fluid that is issued from a man's penis when he is aroused.  Although it is a small amount, you should always use protection because you can still get pregnant and contract STD's from it.
