Hello, Anon. Thank you for your message.

It's best to see a doctor first to find out if his low blood pressure is something to be concerned about. Some experts define low blood pressure as readings lower than 90 mm Hg systolic or 60 mm Hg diastolic. However, what's considered low blood pressure for one person, may be normal for someone else. Most doctors consider blood pressure too low only if it causes symptoms. Symptoms can include:

Dizziness or lightheadedness
Fainting (syncope)
Blurred vision
Nausea
Fatigue
Lack of concentration

Depending on a persons age, health and the type of low blood pressure, you can help raise low BP in several ways:

Include more salt in your diet
Drink more water, limit alcoholic beverages
Medications (if advised by your doctor)
Having a healthy diet; small low carb meals are sometimes advised
