my menstruation starts with dark spotting the first and second day is it normal?

Welcome to EmpowHER. The beginning of a menstrual cycle can sometimes be light bleeding or spotting and it's normal. Just keep monitoring it and if continues this way, you might want to discuss it with your doctor.
