So my period started coming at about 6 days after it had the month before. So last month it came July 4th this month I would think it would come like August 10-11th. Now it hasn’t even reached those dates yet and I’m already a little worried that it won’t come. This happens to me like every month and I get super worried about when it will come. I’ve had my period since February so I’m not super familiar with it yet. This month I’ve had a lot of discharge which I usually get the week before I get my period and I’ve read that other people do too.i get stressed super easy and I read that sometimes people miss their period if they have cancer. That makes me really scared. I’m only 13 Please help (sorry if this is confusing I’m just really stressed)

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

It's very normal for periods to be irregular for the first years (several years) of getting them. It doesn't mean a person is sick or anything of the sort. Regular periods aren't very common for young teens. Some women never have regular periods.
Try to relax and remember there is no real risk of anything being wrong.
Best,
Susan
